Paulo Silveira is professor of art history at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, member of the Brazilian Committee for the History of Art (CBHA) and the National Association of Visual Arts Researchers (ANPAP), Brazil. Editor of ARJ – Art Research Journal. Investigates the history and aesthetics of artists' publications. Conducts the research "Devices and procedures that establish contemporary art".
