Forrest Sincoff Gard, urodzony w Ohio (USA), otrzymał tytuł BFA w dziedzinie ceramiki na Uniwersytecie Ohio w 2009 roku, ukończył studia licencjackie na University of Florida w 2011 roku, a także uzyskał tytuł magistra w dziedzinie ceramiki na Uniwersytecie Stanowym w Luizjanie w 2014 roku. był artystą rezydentem w Red Lodge Clay Center i Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. W 2014 r. był współzałożycielem Socially Engaged Craft Collective W latach 2014-2018 Forrest pracował jako redaktor miesięcznika Ceramics Monthly oraz Pottery Making Illustrated.Forrest prezentował swoje interaktywne instalacje i prace ceramiczne na ponad 40 wystawach w Stanach Zjednoczonych i Korei Południowej, w tym na Incheon World Ceramics Center w Koreii, American Museum of Ceramic Art w Ponoma, California; the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, Montana, The Clay Studio of Philadelphia, Razem z żoną, Jeni Hansen Gard, mieszkają w Macon w stanie Georgia w USA, gdzie zarządzają Community Arts Centre w Mill Hill i prowadzą studio. Artist in Residence Talk Forrest Sincoff Gard ,,Build to play - Interactive ceramic" 11th October 2018 ( Thursday ) Center for Applied Arts ASP Traugutta 19/21 Wroclaw studio 006 at 12.00 p.m Forrest Sincoff Gard, an Ohio (USA) native, received his BFA in Ceramics from Ohio University in 2009, completed post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Florida in 2011, and earned his MFA in Ceramics from Louisiana State University in 2014. He has been a short-term resident artist at Red Lodge Clay Center and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. In 2014, Forrest co-founded the Socially Engaged Craft Collective. From 2014-2018 Forrest worked as an associate editor for Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated.
Forrest has shown his interactive installations and ceramic artworks in over 40 exhibitions across the United States and South Korea including the 8th Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennale at the Incheon World Ceramics Center in South Korea; the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Ponoma, California; the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, Montana; and The Clay Studio of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. Forrest and his wife, Jeni Hansen Gard, live in Macon, Georgia, USA, where they manage the Mill Hill Community Arts Center and operate a studio at their home. Forrest was awarded the NCECA International Residency 2018 and is currently working in the ASP Ceramic-Residency Program in Wroclaw, Poland.
