LAACT 3.0 praxis collection

For the third time this year, we invite you to the Light As A Creative Tool [LAACT] 3.0 event.

LAACT is a project led by dr. Robert Sochacki of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, based on contemporary media art and light art. Since 2018, LAACT has been bridging the worlds of theoretical research and practice, offering workshops, conferences and publications to students, art teachers, artists and those involved in creating cultural events.

Previously, we had the opportunity to host artists in May (installations from the Landscape workshop were present in our museum during the Night of Museums) and September (the effects of Open Composition could be viewed during the Kinomural).

On October 14th, we invite you to the Pavilion's courtyard from 4:00 pm - there will be an opportunity to see light art installations by the Mutual Loop art collective (Martina Tritthart, Holger Lang) from Austria and works by Tom Groll and Kuno Seltmann from Germany.

From 4:00 to 8:00 pm, the museum's exterior wall will feature a video collage prepared during a workshop together with students from the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts - Klaudia Kasperska [WRUNIA], Dominika Firla and Eva Kozárová - under the guidance of Kuno Seltmann.

At 5:00 pm there will be a discussion centered around artistic exploration (Mutual Loop, Tom Groll, Kuno Seltmann), research within academic work (Bostjan Drinovec, University of Ljubljana, Academy of Fine Arts and Design) and production work during light art festivals (Robert Sochacki, Katerina Mirovic, artistic director of Lightning Guerilla). The moderator of the discussion will be producer, artist and lecturer from Vienna Holger Lang. Language of the meeting - English.

On October 15th, during the opening of the temporary exhibition "Collage - Bonded Worlds" of the exhibitionhttps://mnwr.pl/en/collages-bonded-worlds/ an outdoor screening will await the public from 5:00 to 7 to 7:00 pm.
