Biographical note
I am a expert appointed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the field of artistic craftsmanship, specializing in stained glass. I am involved in creating new stained glass works as well as conserving and restoring stained glass in a wide range of projects - from researching historic stained glass to conservation work in architectural structures. I have designed and implemented contemporary stained glass works in over 100 religious buildings. I conduct research and inventories of stained glass, with the participation of students from my workshop. I am particularly interested in ancient techniques of creating stained glass.

- Conservation and restoration of stained glass windows in the Poznań Cathedral
- Research and conservation program for a collection of medieval stained-glass windows from Chełmno, located in the District Museum in Toruń
- Conservation and reconstruction of stained glass windows in the Cathedral of St. Wenceslaus and Stanislaus in Świdnica
- Cooperation in conservation works on stained glass complexes from the 16th and 17th centuries from the area of Western Pomerania

Characteristic of the projects and research in which the PhD student is to be subsumed, including the expected practical and theoretical competencies of the PhD student:
The projects I am currently involved in are: research and conservation of a collection of 43 quarters of medieval stained glass from the District Museum in Toruń, inventory, recognition and historical and conservation research of a set of 23 Renaissance stained glass windows from the Poznań National Museum, field research on the inventory of stained glass windows in Western Pomerania
Characteristic of didactic cooperation between the supervisor and the PhD student:
From a doctoral student, I expect knowledge in the field of heritage conservation, skills in working with glass and basic skills in stained glass painting techniques. The ability to make independent decisions, curiosity, and a research-oriented mindset are also important. Experience in fieldwork is desirable as well.
