It's gonna be a blast! Patrick Lichty, American artist and curator, YES MEN activist, actionist, co-founder of the Second Front performance group in the Second Life virtual game, digital art and media art theoretician, will perform for you, invited by our Scientific Circle X Internet / Culture / Art. On 13 May, at 6 p.m., as part of our "Zooming in on the Web" series of meetings, we will be taking a critical look at Internet culture. We will talk about digital art and its transience, the transformation of the Internet in the age of the pandemic, and more. We encourage you to read Patrick's essays from the book Variant Analyses: Interrogations of New Media Art and Culture, to watch the videos, prepare questions, and join the Q&A session after the lecture. Our interpreters will certainly make our job easier. Don't miss it:)
