The project organised by the Goethe Institute, curated by the British writer Priya Basil, was attended by Professor Katarzyn Koczyńska-Kielan and four students of our academy.
The Europe's Kitchen Project is also linked to the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union from July to December 2020.
What happens to the ideas of Europe, community and sharing when you consider this from a kitchen perspective?
The "Europe's Kitchen" project invited Polish citizens to share their ideas about Europe through associations with spices and flavours. What flavour does Europe have for them? And what would they add?
Their answers form the starting point for short essays by Priya Basil and Matt Aufderhorst and works by five ceramic artists from our university: Katarzyna Koczynska-Kielan, Magdalena Maros, Katarzyna Mazurek, Alicja Patanowska and David Żynda.
