The exhibition by Monika Aleksandrowicz accompanies the 28th Europe Days in Oleśnica.

The artist explores the tensions between the sign, asemicity, and the architecture of language, highlighting how the structures of writing transcend conventional communication and open a field of interpretation.

The project reflects on language as a dynamic system – rhythmic, mathematical, and architectural. The works presented in Oleśnica, ranging from artist’s books to installations, invite the audience to reflect on how the sign shapes perception and experience of communication.

Monika Aleksandrowicz – visual artist, curator, and lecturer at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. For over 20 years, she has been creating artist’s books, asemic and geometric works, experimenting at the intersection of art, philosophy, and mathematics.

Organizers: Municipal Centre of Culture and Art in Oleśnica, Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Art Mediation.
