Healthcare & Insurance
There is a possibility to buy an insurance policy directly in Poland, however we recommend the students to purchase their insurance before arrival. The students who will not prove to be holder of an appropriate and valid health insurance cannot be enrolled to the Academy.
EU Citizens
The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is recommended for EU citizens when they plan to travel to Poland. In case of illness or other sudden medical problem emergency, you can easily go to one of medical centres or hospitals in Wrocław. The EHIC card usually covers the basic medical care such as diagnostic tests, a consultation with a specialist and a stay in a hospital.
Apart from the EHIC, it is recommended to buy a private policy for liability and accident insurance.
NON-EU Citizens
Non-EU citizens are obliged to buy a private policy insurance covering medical costs, liability insurance and accident insurance.
