Trojanowska Aleksandra
In 2020 she graduated from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław with a Bachelor's degree, majoring in General Biology. In 2016 she completed a two-level study programme at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, majoring in Media Art, and in 2019 she completed the Interdepartmental Doctoral Study Programme at the same university.
I work on the border of science and art. I focus on moving away from anthropocentrism and promoting biocentric phenomena. My projects and interactive bio-audiovisual installations revolve around the degradation of ecosystems due to human activity and the search for altruism in an egocentric world. Social activism and natural education are an important part of my work. In the Studio I develop a bio-workshop, encouraging students to perform mini-experiments and be inspired by biology.
