Since September 30 till October 3, 2019, the International Relations Office prepared and organized a series of events for foreigners starting education at our university
under the Erasmus program, bilateral exchanges, but primarily within the MFA program in Visual Arts and in the Doctoral School. All workshops and meetings took place under the name of Welcome Week. During these few days, newcomers had the opportunity to get familiar not only with the Polish procedures to complete all formalities, but also to get to know each other during a "speed meeting" or culinary workshop. "Traditional Food Day" was the time when everyone had the chance to share traditional dishes from their country and try the delicacies of other cultures. On "Cultural Day" participants faced up to (but above all verified) national stereotypes. We hope that no one will feel lost anymore in the new place thanks to the tour around Worcław and the university buildings. The whole programme was completed by the participation in solemn inaugurations – for students and the Doctoral School.
We wish all foreign members of our academic community a lot of success . Let your stay in our country and university be an unforgettable life adventure.
