Summer Art and Design School 2023
From July 2nd to July 22nd, 2023, we had the pleasure to host students from Kyung Hee University College of Art & Design in South Korea, as part of the Summer Art & Design School 2023 in Wrocław. The event is a continuation of the long-standing cooperation between the two universities.
A total of 24 students from Korea, accompanied by Professor Seung Woog Kim, joined us for this exciting program. Our Academy provided them with a comprehensive curriculum, that included classes in drawing, ceramics, and the English language.
Outside of their academic pursuits, students had the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of Wrocław, including visits to local museums. On weekends, they participated in a trip to Prague and Bolesławiec. where they actively participated in ceramics workshops organized by Manufaktura.
Concluding this enriching experience, students had the opportunity of exhibiting their creative works. At this exhibition, they received certificates and plates, which they crafted during their time in Bolesławiec.
