The E.Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław has been organizing summer workshops from 9th until 27th of July 2012 for the students from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, one of our partner Institution.
The participants of the workshops - 30 students and prof. Seung Woog Kim arrived to Wrocław on Saturday evening.
The leading subject of the workshops is "Confrontation at the Table" and the authors of the concept are: Dominika Sobolewska, Marlena Promna and Karina Marusińska who through ceramics, drawing and design classes will try to approach Polish culture and food tradition to the foreign students.
The workshops take place every morning until lunch. In the afternoon the students follow the English course for special purposes - Design English leaded by Mrs. Beata Ludwiczak.
The students are very keen to work and acquire new experiences
After the classes they visit galleries, museums and sightsee Wrocław, this weekend they are going to Kraków and the next one - to Prague.
The students' works will be showed on the final exhibition in the Behind the Glass Gallery (Plac Polski), the opening will take place on the 27th of July at 15:30.
