Marian Waldemar Kuczma - Impossible Journeys

This is the title of the exhibition of my latest paintings presented in the Bolesław Biegas Museum. It consists of a set of over a dozen works whose general inspiration is travelling. These are both real, fulfilled journeys and those unrealized, imagined, or just impossible. Travels to non-existent, unreal, mythical places. I find this kind of peregrination most inspiring. It is a journey into oneself, constantly asking oneself questions about the image of the world, often rediscovering oneself. It is also a journey into the depths of a painting, a journey as a path one has to take to discover the value and meaning of one's painting.
