Biographical note
Visual artist, academic lecturer, curator. In her scientific and research work, she deals with the creative process, and the spatial context of a work of art. The key motif of her work is man and his relationship with the environment. Author of numerous texts on art and artistic events published in professional journals, reviews and scientific articles; member of scientific committees at conferences. Founder of an artistic collective with which she has carried out several transdisciplinary exhibition projects, inviting also people not related to the art community to cooperate.
Achievements
- 2015 – she obtained her habilitation (post-doctoral) degree.
- 2018 – individual exhibition DZIŚ NIKT JUŻ TAK NIE MALUJE | NOBODY PAINTS LIKE THIS ANY MORE, Retro Building (White Room), Tytano Foundation – Dolne Młyny, Kraków. Exhibition nominated for the Witold Wojtkiewicz Prize.
- 2019 – elected to participate in the international artistic Nomadic Residency: Island of Consciousness (Ubud, Indonesia); she also received a partial scholarship from the organizer: Association BecameBecome.
- 2019 – invited to co-lead a master workshop on architecture and urban planning Letture Parallele. L'architettura, il paesaggio e il racconto delle arti, Università degli Studi di Palermo, Palermo, Italy.

Characteristic of the projects and research in which the PhD student is to be subsumed
Projects and research in which a doctoral student may be involved include: the organization and participation in international conferences; preparation of curatorial concepts for exhibitions and their organization; research in the field of Fine Arts with particular emphasis on the medium of painting; the integration of art with urban space and nature, while intermedia and interdisciplinary considerations are encouraged.
The practical competences of the doctoral student should include high workshop skills combined with an attitude open to experiment and the will to innovate; experience in applying for grants and / or scholarships, residencies, participation in competitions.
The theoretical competences of the doctoral student should include awareness of their own creative process and the ability to professionally speak and write about his/her own artistic work and its context in relation to contemporary art.
Characteristic of didactic cooperation between the supervisor and the PhD student
Experience in planning and implementing artistic and research projects individually and in a team, also in an international environment; knowledge of the basics of teaching methodology in order to conduct workshops and theoretical classes; well-established knowledge of art and culture, including contemporary art; intellectual openness and self-motivation in this area. Systematic work and its documentation are expected.
