Sochacki Robert
In 1997 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, majoring in Painting, and in 2018 received his PhD at the same university after defending a thesis on art in public space and visual art.
A sensitive observation of everyday life has always led me and my art to public space. It is here, at the meeting point of the city, the image, the artist and the viewer, that an active interpretative space is created, both open and complementing the work. I work creatively in various artistic spaces: from stage design in theatre, VJ'ing, performance and large format outdoor projections to interactive light installations. I collaborate with various academic centres in Poland, Europe and Africa.
