Martyniszyn Ewa
In 2004 she graduated from the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, specialisation: Photography.
Since 2003 I have been incessantly fascinated by wedding portraits. I have given a traditional form to hand-coloured photographs of contemporary married couples and individual portraits. In addition to commissioning unique portraits, I have also become a collector of wedding portraits and a populariser of this low form of art. Apart from dealing with the ecology of wedding portraits, in my work I balance between set photography and "orthodox" photographic images of a documentary nature. Recently, I have been reflecting on the essence of time as well.
