Kodź Anna
In 2013 she graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Faculty of Graphics and Media Art, field of studies: printmaking, and in 2009 she completed studies at the University of Zielona Góra, Faculty of Fine Arts, field of studies: painting.
I have been associated with the Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw since 2014. In my creative work, I mainly deal with screen printing, exploring the possibilities of this printmaking technique. I am interested in new technological and formal solutions. Human corporeality is a dominant motif in my work, and the body itself and its ambiguity have intrigued me for years. The human form is a perfect tool to present broader ideas, a carrier of emotions and meanings. Many forces clash on the plane of the body – thoughts, instincts or social inscriptions. In my opinion, the space of art is a perfect place to explore issues oscillating around carnality.
