Jarząb Agnieszka
In 2004 I graduated in Graphic Arts from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, where I currently work as an assistant professor at the Department of Media Art.
My main area of interest is broadly understood animation. In my artistic practice, I create classical animated films (short graphic stories) as well as experimental works (non-camera animation). I am inspired by intermedia activities that combine animation with music and performance (LIVE shows). For many years I have co-created the artistic duo kinoMANUAL, whose work is based on experimentation with moving images, animation, light art, and sound. It also allows me to explore the phenomenon of artistic duos developing both individuality and close collaboration.
