Professor Dominika Sobolewska from the Faculty of Interior Architecture, Design, and Scenography, along with Foteini Kolaiti, a PhD student from the Doctoral School, recently represented the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design at the prestigious MeetUp Lab by Humanitarian Designers at CERN's IdeaSquare in Geneva, Switzerland.

From September 23rd-25th, 2024, our representatives had the honor of joining leading experts and innovators in discussions aimed at enhancing collaboration between designers and aid workers. The event gathered professionals from diverse fields in Design and Strategic Management to explore new humanitarian design practices. This marked a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue on the role of design in addressing global humanitarian challenges.

During the three-day event, participants engaged in workshops, talks, and shared the stage with key figures from NGOs, academia, and the design world. This event has opened new doors for educational and communicational collaboration, linking professionals, designers, and representatives from humanitarian organizations worldwide.
