Wasze domy nucą nasze pieśni

We are delighted to announce that our academy has become a beneficiary of the prestigious program "International Scientific Event at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka." We are proud to be among the elite group of 15 Polish universities participating in this program.

Thanks to the support of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), we will have the opportunity to present a series of international exhibitions, workshops, and presentations titled "Your Homes Hum Our Songs – an Artistic and Scientific Project" in Japan during Expo 2025.

This project, coordinated by Prof. Aleksandra Janik, Prof. Wojciech Pukocz, and Prof. Przemysław Pintal, is carried out in collaboration between artists from Poland and Japan. It serves as an interdisciplinary reflection on the complex relationships between place, identity, memory, and migration. The exhibition addresses key questions about what makes a place a home and how individual and societal transformations influence our connection to space.

"Your Homes Hum Our Songs – an Artistic and Scientific Project" recalls the stories of people who inhabit or leave their places, whether out of necessity or choice. The project explores issues of internal migrations—those directed inward rather than toward distant lands—and the cultural dispossession and homelessness accompanying various forms of displacement.

The "International Scientific Event at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka" program aims to promote Polish science and higher education on the global stage, strengthening their position through the presentation of innovative projects and the initiation of collaborations in fields such as medicine, IT, green technologies, as well as art and design.

Participating in this event is a unique opportunity for our Academy to showcase the potential of Polish artists, exchange experiences with international experts, and foster intercultural dialogue. It is also a chance to promote Wrocław as a dynamic artistic and educational hub on the global stage.

We invite you to follow our preparations for Expo 2025 and to learn more about the exhibition on our website and social media. We extend our gratitude to NAWA and PAIH for supporting this exceptional initiative, which allows us to promote Polish art and science on a global platform.
