Summer Art and Design School 2024

From July 6th to July 28th, 2024, we had the pleasure to host students from Kyung Hee University College of Art & Design in South Korea, as part of the Summer Art & Design School 2024 in Wrocław. The event is a continuation of the long-standing cooperation between the two universities.

A total of 24 students from Korea, accompanied by Professor Seung Woog Kim and Professor Hwasun Yeo, joined us for this exciting program. Our Academy provided them with a comprehensive curriculum, that included classes in drawing, ceramics, and the English language.

Outside of their academic courses, students had the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of Wrocław, including visits to local museums. On weekends, they participated in a trip to Prague and Bolesławiec, where they actively participated in ceramics workshops organized by Manufaktura. They also got to visit an incredible, newly opened Museum of Ceramics, that has a long-lasting cooperation with our Academy.

At the end of the summer school, students had the opportunity to exhibit their creative drawing and ceramics works, which their created during the summer school.
