Patricia Villalobos Echeverría's hybrid practice includes prints, photos, installations and participatory projects that pivot around issues of migration, navigation, displacement, and transformation. She was born in Tennessee to Salvadoran parents and grew up in Managua, Nicaragua. Villalobos Echeverría earned an MFA degree from West Virginia University and a BFA degree from Louisiana State University. She is Professor of Art at the Gwen Frostic School of Art, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA.
Retrace – Patricia Villalobos Echeverría solo exhibition will be presented at the Behind the Glass Gallery on Nov 22nd, 2017 to Dec 8th, 2017. This show is a collateral event of the international printmaking conference on Post-digital printmaking. Redefinition of print organized by the Printmaking Department on Dec 6th to Dec 8th, 2017.
