What is memory? Is memory a thing of the past, or an evolving process that lives in the present?
The artist’s interest lies in what is called collective memory. He explores different approaches to the ideas of how memory is developed, where it nests, how it spreads through our societies and which are its differences to history. The absence of memory in the world is an unfathomable notion. Because of this, our worldview is structured around an idea we strive to understand and remember, but tend to ignore and forget.
