● Printmaking
In 1977 he graduated with a Master's degree from University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, USA.
In 1972 he graduated with a Bachelor's degree from University of Toledo, Toledo Museum of Art School of Design, Toledo, Ohio USA. For many years he has been associated with the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, which awarded him with the title of Professor of Printmaking.
Since moving to Poland in 1993 I have been dealing with mezzotint and drawing. I like mezzotint because it gives me total freedom to create any image with just three tools. I like the challenges of new images, textures and formats. Working with a series of prints appeals to me because it allows me to show the chronology of an idea and also different aspects of the same idea.
I enjoy teaching and have taught mezzotint in Lithuania, Romania, Sweden, Latvia, USA, China and Japan. I have curated exhibitions of Polish printmaking in Poland and abroad.
